MedTech

Secure cloud, modern clinical systems, and governed AI for hospitals and clinics.

Patient data stays where the rules say it must, legacy systems get a safe route forward, and AI earns its place under clinical review.

The challenge

The most sensitive data, on estates never built for cloud or AI

Hospitals hold the most sensitive data there is, under the strictest rules on where it can live.

  • Health data stays in country

Health data sets the rules. Residency, access, and clinical safety decide the architecture, so cloud, security, and AI have to be designed together.

What vistraXa does

Four practices, one governed path for patient data

Cloud, security, modernization, and AI are decided in one design, so patient data has no seams to fall through.

Clinical systems Clinical records Imaging Lab and pharmacy Connected devices Integration layer In country landing zone Encrypted patient data AI with guardrails Isolated, immutable backups Clinician review Guardrails on every path: residency, identity, encryption, and audit logging
Patient data moves through one governed path: in country storage, AI behind guardrails, and a person reviewing what matters.
  • Cloud foundations for health data

A landing zone where residency is an architecture decision, not a contract clause.

    • Approved in country Regions, backup locations, and processing services
    • Identity, encryption, and logging defined as code
    • Designed to UAE and Saudi health data rules as advisory alignment

Solves Health data that must stay in country

  • Clinical and administrative modernization

A practical route off legacy systems that keeps care running.

    • A disposition for each application, sequenced by clinical risk
    • Integration that decouples old systems from new ones
    • Migration windows planned around care

Solves Known flaws on clinical networks

  • Security and tested recovery

Controls and recovery proven for the services patients depend on.

    • Segmentation that keeps clinical workloads apart from corporate ones
    • Isolated, immutable backups for clinical records
    • Recovery exercised against an agreed tolerance

Solves The costliest breaches of any industry

  • AI under clinical governance

Sanctioned AI that removes administrative load, reviewed by the people accountable for it.

    • Referral, claims, and document processing
    • Answers grounded in the source record, with citations
    • Threat model and guardrails before AI touches patient data

Health data rules

Designed around the rules you report to

Gulf rules lead the design, with UK coverage where it applies.

  • UAE

Federal Law No. 2 of 2019

Health data stays in the UAE unless a health authority decision allows otherwise.

  • Abu Dhabi

    ADHICS, Department of Health

Applies to any entity handling health information in Abu Dhabi, technology providers included.

  • Dubai

    DHA health data protection policy

Protected health information stays in the UAE except under the health ICT law exemptions.

  • Saudi Arabia

    PDPL and NCA controls

Health data is sensitive data, with access limited to the staff needed for care. NCA controls apply to government entities and critical infrastructure.

In the UK, organizations with access to NHS patient data complete the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit. All mapping is advisory alignment. vistraXa designs to these frameworks and does not audit or certify.

Governed AI

AI that earns its place in a hospital

AI takes on documents and administration. Clinical judgement stays with clinicians.

How AI is used

  1. AI reads and drafts

It extracts fields from referrals, claims, and clinical documents, and drafts summaries for review.

  2. Answers cite the record

Every answer points to the document it came from, so a reviewer can check it in seconds.

  3. A person decides

Nothing is filed or sent without review. You keep the evaluation harness, the cost model, and the guardrails.

What changes

  • Staff using personal AI toolsbecomes Sanctioned AI inside your landing zone
  • Pilots that never leave the demobecomes Production with an evaluation harness
  • Patient data sent anywherebecomes Processing kept where the rules allow
  • Security reviewed after launchbecomes Threat model before real data

Proof in practice

The same governance, in a product vistraXa builds

Hayma

Hayma is a personal health companion built by vistraXa. It keeps doctor and lab reports in one place and finds answers in a person's own records.

  • Answers come from the person's own reports, with the source shown
  • The person chooses what Ask Hayma can see
  • Nothing is saved until the person confirms it
  • No medical advice, no diagnoses, and no interpretation of results

How an engagement runs

  1. Discovery and assessment

Map patient data flows, clinical systems, and where AI is already in use.

  2. Design

Set residency, security, and AI governance, and a modernization route sequenced by clinical risk.

  3. Build or migrate

Foundation first, then systems moved in windows planned around care.

  4. Enable and hand over

Infrastructure as code, runbooks, recovery evidence, and the skills to run them.

Scope and commercial model are tailored to your requirement.

Why vistraXa

Built on two decades of regulated enterprise delivery

Founded on more than 20 years of enterprise technology experience, including leading cloud adoption, migration, and security programmes at AWS for financial services, public sector, retail, and telecommunications organizations across Europe and the Middle East.

  • Four disciplines, one design

Cloud, security, modernization, and AI are decided together, so patient data has no seams to fall through.

  • Builds AI and secures it

A practice that builds AI systems and assesses their security, which is rare in the region.

  • Capability transfer

Your team finishes able to run what was built. Dependency is not the business model.

Frequently asked questions

Can patient data stay in the UAE or Saudi Arabia on cloud?

Residency is designed into the landing zone: which Regions are allowed, where backups live, and which services may process data. Current in country availability across providers is confirmed at the time of design, and anything that cannot stay in country is flagged before it is built.

Do you replace our EMR or clinical systems?

No. vistraXa does not sell clinical systems. The work designs the cloud, integration, and security around the systems you run, and plans any migration around care.

How is AI kept safe around patient data?

Each use case gets a threat model, guardrails, an evaluation harness, and a person reviewing what matters before anything is filed or sent. AI is scoped to documents and administration unless your clinical governance approves more.

Will this satisfy DoH, DHA, or our auditor?

Controls and evidence are mapped to ADHICS, DHA policy, the UAE health ICT law, and Saudi PDPL as advisory alignment, so audit preparation starts from a traceable record. vistraXa does not certify compliance.

What does it cost?

Each engagement is scoped to a defined outcome and priced as fixed scope wherever the work allows, with the scope set during discovery.
