Security
Cybersecurity
Application, AI, and cloud security, designed in before workloads land.
One design covers the applications you ship, the AI you put into production, and the cloud underneath both. It maps to UAE, Saudi, and international frameworks as advisory alignment.
- Threat model
- Controls
- Evidence
- Best for
- Applications, cloud foundations, or AI workloads where the attack surface is growing faster than security coverage.
- You leave with
- A prioritized threat model, controls that close the paths that matter, and evidence your team can use.
- Best first step
- AI Security Review or Application Security Review
The challenge
AI and cloud have outgrown the security model
AI is being adopted faster than it is secured, and the weak point is usually the system around the model.

$8M
The cost of a breach here
The average Middle East breach, against a global average of $4.99 million.

27%
AI breaches start around the model
Compromised APIs, applications, or plug ins were the most common route into AI systems, level with cloud misconfigurations.

#1
Exploits are now the top way in
Vulnerability exploitation overtook stolen credentials as the top entry point, the first time in 19 years.

38%
Governance lags adoption
Only 38% of Middle East organizations had formal AI governance policies, yet UAE and Saudi rules expect controls that can be evidenced.

The underlying constraint is skills. AI, application, and cloud security sit with different teams, and the attacks that matter cross all three.
The solution
Security as one design across three layers
Threat model the systems that matter, then close the paths an attacker would actually take.
What changes
- Three separate auditsbecomes One design across every layer
- A gate before go livebecomes A design input while change is cheap
- Testing once a yearbecomes Testing in the pipeline
- Findings reportedbecomes Exposure removed, with evidence
How AI is used
AI maps the gaps
AI assisted analysis reads configuration, code, and policy documents against your frameworks and flags the gaps.
Testing tools prove findings
Agentic testing tools show which application findings are actually exploitable.
Senior review decides
Which gaps carry business risk, and the order they close. You keep the code, policy, and runbooks.
Capabilities
Four capabilities, one control set
-
AI security
Threat models and guardrails for LLM and agentic systems.
- Prompt injection and data exfiltration defences
- Least privilege for the tools agents can call
- Mapped to the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and the UAE AI security policy
Solves AI breaches that start around the model
-
Application security
Secure pipelines, with findings proven and fixed.
- Threat modelling and secure pipeline design
- Secrets, API, and identity security
- Fixes worked through with your developers until closure is verified
Solves Exploits as the top way in
-
Cloud security and landing zones
Multi account foundations with controls defined as code.
- Identity federation and privileged access
- Segmentation, encryption, and key management
- Detection designed to feed the security operations you already run
Solves The cost of a breach
-
Control mapping and evidence
One control set mapped to the frameworks you report against.
- Evidence collected from the environment, not questionnaires
- Gaps ranked by exposure, in business terms
- Aligned to UAE Information Assurance Standards, DESC, NCA controls, and SAMA
Solves Governance that lags adoption
How an engagement runs
Discovery and assessment
Threat model the systems that matter and map current controls against your frameworks.
Design
Set the target controls across application, AI, and cloud layers, ranked by exposure.
Build
Implement guardrails, pipeline checks, and AI permission boundaries in defined waves.
Enable and hand over
Hand over policy as code, runbooks, evidence, and the skills to run them.
Scope and commercial model are tailored to your requirement.

Frequently asked questions
We are only piloting AI. Is an AI Security Review premature?
If the pilot touches real customer or business data, no. That is when permission boundaries, data handling, and logging need deciding. If not, an Application Security Review is usually the better first step.
Where does our data sit during the engagement?
Assessment work runs inside your environment, with access you grant and can revoke. Where agentic testing tools are used, their processing locations are checked against UAE PDPL and Saudi PDPL before any test runs.
Will this satisfy our regulator or auditor?
Controls and evidence are mapped to UAE, Saudi, and international frameworks as advisory alignment, so audit preparation starts from a traceable record. vistraXa does not certify compliance or act as an accredited testing provider.
Do you monitor our environment afterwards?
No. Detection and logging are designed to feed your own security operations or your chosen provider. Lightweight advisory support can continue if you want it.
What does it cost?
Each engagement is scoped to a defined outcome and priced as fixed scope wherever the work allows, with the scope set during discovery.
