Cloud and migration

Cloud Foundations and Migration on AWS

Secure foundations, practical migration, and automation with a measurable payback.

Built on Amazon Web Services.

vistraXa gives growing organizations a secure AWS foundation from the first account. Automation of manual work follows, scoped so the return shows up in the quarter.

  3. Automation
Best for
A cloud estate that grew without consistent foundations, or critical applications that need a credible route to the cloud.
You leave with
A target landing zone, a disposition for each application, and an ordered migration or automation roadmap.

The challenge

Cloud ambition outpaces cloud readiness

For a growing business the question is how to get value from cloud without adding risk or cost.

  • Foundations without guardrails

Mismanaged secrets and keys and excessive privileges were among the top factors raising Middle East breach costs.

Source: IBM Cost of a Data Breach Report 2026, Middle East findings

  • Manual work that should be automated

Invoices, approvals, and reports still move by email and spreadsheet, so skilled people spend their week moving data.

  • 51%

Legacy held in place by fear

Organizations across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa that still rely on legacy applications because of disruption concerns.

  • 29%

    Spend that outruns value

Cloud spend wasted, the first rise in five years, driven largely by AI workloads.

The underlying constraint is specialist capacity. Few growing organizations have a cloud architect, a security lead, and an automation engineer on staff.

The solution

One design from foundation to automation

Assess what you run today, then build on AWS in the order that removes risk first: foundation, workloads, automation.

Identity federation Organization Guardrails Management Account Security Log archive Audit Network Shared network Workloads Production Non production Residency: approved Regions only
A landing zone gives management, security, networking, and workloads their own accounts, with guardrails applied to all of them.

What changes

  • Guardrails retrofitted before the auditbecomes A secure baseline before the first workload
  • Data moved by email and spreadsheetbecomes Automation with a payback in the quarter
  • Lift and shift by defaultbecomes A disposition for each application
  • Cost reviewed after the first invoicebecomes Budgets and alerts set during the build

How AI is used

  1. AI reads the estate

AI assisted analysis reads configuration, code, and usage data to propose a disposition for each application and flag idle resources.

  2. AI only where it beats a rule

Generative AI reads invoices and documents only where it measurably beats a plain rule, with a person reviewing the output.

  3. Senior review decides

Which dispositions stand and which flagged resources change. You keep the infrastructure as code and runbooks.

Capabilities

Four capabilities on one foundation

  • Secure landing zone

A multi account AWS foundation with guardrails defined as code.

    • Identity federation and centralized logging
    • Network segmentation and preventive guardrails
    • Residency aligned to UAE and Saudi requirements

    Solves Foundations without guardrails

  • Automation with a measurable payback

Process discovery first, then the workflows worth automating, scoped so the return shows up in the quarter.

    • Document and invoice processing
    • Approvals across disconnected systems
    • Reporting held together by spreadsheets

Solves Manual work that should be automated

  • Migration that retires cost

A disposition for each application, then waves sequenced by business risk.

    • Retire, retain, rehost, replatform, or refactor
    • Waves land on a foundation already in place
    • Nothing moves that should have been retired

Solves Legacy held in place by fear

  • Cost control that holds

Cost governance set up during the build rather than after the first invoice.

    • Rightsizing and commitment strategy
    • Tagging and budget alerts
    • A cost view for each workload

    Solves Spend that outruns value

How an engagement runs

  1. Discovery and assessment

Inventory what runs today, what it costs, and what the business needs next.

  2. Design

The landing zone, a disposition for each application, and a shortlist of processes worth automating.

  3. Build or migrate

Foundation first, then migration waves and automation, each with agreed outcomes.

  4. Enable and hand over

Infrastructure as code, runbooks, cost reporting, and your team able to run it.

Scope and commercial model are tailored to your requirement.

Frequently asked questions

Our AWS estate grew without a plan. Do we have to start again?

No. The assessment maps what exists against the target landing zone, then moves accounts, identity, and logging into it in stages while most workloads keep running.

Is this only for large organizations?

No. The same foundation scales down, and a first engagement is often a single landing zone or a single application.

Where will our data sit?

Residency is designed into the landing zone: which Regions are allowed, where backups live, and which services may process data. It is mapped to UAE PDPL, the UAE National Cloud Security Policy, and Saudi NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls.

We have no security lead. Who looks after this once it is built?

Your team does. Security is carried in code, alerts route to a named owner on your side, and vistraXa walks your team through the first alerts before handover.

What does it cost?

Each engagement is scoped to a defined outcome and priced as fixed scope wherever the work allows. AWS usage is billed to your own account, and the running cost of the target platform is part of the assessment output.
